"City of Bridges and Arches" the municipality of Tirano, in the province of Sondrio, fascinates visitors for its elegant style (typically in "Liberty" style), which can be appreciated in every corner of the historic center. Set between the Alps, between the Adda and Poschiavino rivers, the city of Tirano, since the 14th century, has been an important center for the traffic of goods between Italy and Switzerland. The city of Tirano is well connected to the main towns of the province and is easily reachable from the municipalities of Milan, Brescia and Sondrio.
From Milan, take the SS 38 (Milan-Lecco-Sondrio), Tirano exit. From Brescia, on the other hand, you reach the Valle Camonica along SS39.
Tirano train station is served by the Trenitalia and Trenord companies and offers connections to the main cities of the region. Scheduled daily trips to the stations of Sondrio (about 45 minutes), Lecco (about 120 minutes), Monza (about 130 minutes) and Milan Central (about 150 minutes).
