Other travel modes

From the Catania airport there are no fast connections with the city of Cefalù. If you want to quickly reach the "Arab-Norman jewel" of Cefalù, we recommend the rental service with driver (NCC) offered by Bravodriver.com or by Taxi service: a licensed driver will pick you up directly from the airport arrivals area and will quickly accompany you to the city of Cefalù. It is indeed necessary to reach previously reach the central train station of Catania (Piazza Giovanni Paolo XXIII) and from here continue with regional routes to Cefalù.

Train

From the Catania airport there is no direct connection with the Cefalù station. It is therefore advisable to reach the central station of Catania with the shuttle service run by the company Amt-Alibus: from the Catania station take the section that leads to Termini Imerese and then continue up to Cefalù station. Bus

From Catania airport there is no quick (and direct) connection with the city of Cefalù. To reach the town of Cefalù by bus you need to reach in advance the central station of Palermo with the service offered by the transport company Sais and then continue to Cefalù by bus (Sais) or train (Trenitalia). Arrived at the central station of Cefalu (via Aldo Moro) the historic center is just 300 meters. Proceed towards "Centro" through a downhill road that you will have to travel to the end and so to reach "Piazza Armando Diaz" (adjacent to an Esso filling station). From this stretch on (between the Villa Comunale and Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi), the area "off limits" for cars begins.
